Most of us – really all of us – have a browser of some kind on our computer. Some, like Google, are more common than others, but they are all commonly used.

Here are some of the more common ones:

  • Google Chrome.
  • Microsoft Edge.
  • Safari.
  • Mozilla Firefox.
  • Opera.
  • Brave.
  • Tor.
  • Vivaldi.

Of course, there are other ones, but those are the common ones.

But it really does matter what kind of browser you use. Others are good, while others are most dangerous.

For example, if you open a link about, well, let’s say a recipe for a carrot soup. You open the link.

Let’s say there’s something on that link that tracks your passwords, or whatever.

If it’s a good browser, it should detect that. It will say things like “Deceptive site ahead! Attackers may trick you into doing something dangerous like revealing your personal information…” and others things of the sort.

Below, you can see what a site like Google might say, if you were logging into a site that was dangerous:

So, it is dangerous to use certain sites, while others can be useful and show you if there is something wrong.

When trying to find the right browser to use, research about the different types, to find which is best!
