One of the “cutest” animals in Latin and Central America is also one of the most fearsome!

This is the dangerous Capuchin Monkey!

The Capuchin monkey is found in Mexico and parts of the Amazon and other countries near the top of Latin America.

In the wild, these animals eat fruits, insects, leaves, seeds, and small animals, as well as buds, flowers and stems. A normal monkey diet.

But that can change in captivity.

It is a wild animal, but people insist as keeping it as a pet. They think it is a cute creature, that can easily be kept for shows, or in zoos.

But this is not so. Capuchin monkeys are dangerous animals, with long, sharp teeth.

If a human irritates them, or they don’t like that person, or even if they are just kept in a cage for a long period of time, these dangerous monkeys use their razor-sharp teeth, and take their anger out on the flesh of that human!

And that makes them a dangerous mammal of Latin America!
